The Cairngorms is renowned for its range of wildlife and Grantown-on-Spey has much to offer in wildlife-spotting opportunities. We can’t promise you’ll tick off all of Scotland’s Big Five (red deer, red squirrel, otter, golden eagle and seal), but you can see some beautiful creatures during your visit.

The Speyside Wildlife team is highly experienced in birds and mammals but they will tailor your trip to the species you want to see in the Cairngorms National Park. Relax and unwind
After you return from your expedition, you’ll be feeling pretty peckish. There are several excellent dining options around The Square in Grantown-on-Spey. An authentic Indian dining experience can be found at the Sylhet Brasserie, or head to Po Pia for freshly prepared Thai food. The Garth Hotel is also an excellent option for a delicious meal concluded with a fireside dram of Speyside malt.
