Recycling and Reusing Outdoor Gear

Ellis Brigham, Aviemore can rehome down jackets, outdoor jackets, outdoor trousers, sleeping bag, hats, base layers as well as fleeces. Items should be clean and where possible reproofed. Their ‘2nd Life’ initiative matches the needs of the homeless with unused clothing and aims to help protect homeless people from the elements whilst reducing the environmental impact of sending clothes to landfill.
Alternatively, Backcountry Scot, Dalfaber, Aviemore may be able to sell your unwanted outdoor gear if it is in good condition via their Readventure Your Gear initiative
