Recycling Glass Bottles and Jars

Glass bottles and jars can be recycled at the following locations:

• Aviemore – Tesco & Dalfaber Industrial Estate
• Aviemore Recycling Centre
• Boat of Garten Lorry Park
• Carr-bridge car park
• Cromdale Post Office
• Dalraddy Holiday Park
• Dulnain Bridge picnic area
• Glenmore campsite
• Grantown, Burnfield car park
• Grantown Recycling Centre
• Kincraig Village Hall
• Kingussie Market Stance
• Nethy Bridge Village Hall
• Newtonmore Industrial Estate

The following types of bottle and jar are accepted:

• Bottles of any colour (soft drinks, juices, water, wine, beer, spirits, food sauces and olive oil)
• Jars of any colour (food, jam, sauces, condiments, baby food, etc.)
• Cosmetics and perfume containers – also known as flacons
• Pharmaceutical packaging or vials 

There are currently no Highland Council recycling facilities for the following:

• window glass
• pyrex dishes & microwave turnatables
• drinking glass & vases
• crystal glass
• nail varnish bottles
