Spey Bank Studio

The Spey Bank Studio is a new place for creative arts to thrive in the Cairngorms National Park. Housed in one of Grantown’s most prominent buildings, our studio includes a beautiful shop, bright and spacious gallery and a lovely wee pottery. There are regular classes in ceramics and other disciplines are being added all the time. Contact us to find our what the latest availability.

The gallery shows a range of paintings, photographs and sculpture by artists working in the Cairngorms and there are regular special exhibitions and events.

The Spey Bank Studio is also a home for Angus Grant Art, whose popular work depicts the landscapes and wildlife of the Scottish Highlands. His range of handmade ceramics (including his brilliant wonky mugs) are all made and fired onsite in our kiln. Angus is also a tutor for many of our workshops and he accepts private painting commissions.
