Cairngorm Butchers opened on the High Street just over 5 years ago. A multi-award winning Butchers specialising in providing quality local meats at affordable prices. Owner Barry Green won the prestigious Scottish Craft Butcher Meat Skills Competition in 2009 and Neil Anderson was a finalist in the 2013 Competition. Since opening Cairngorm Butchers, Barry and his team have won many awards, which are all displayed in the shop, including:
- North of Scotland Beef Sausage Champion 2012
- North of Scotland Sliced Sausage Champion 2012
- Various Gold and Silver Awards for Speciality Sausages, Burgers and Traditional Steak Pies
The most recent awards were for new Gluten Free products – Gold for Honey and Lemon Chicken Parcels and Silver for Honey Roast Pork Sausages.
As well as traditional butcher products, there are a number of meal solutions from microwave meals to oven ready dishes. You can also find a selection of cold meats and fresh fish. There are always offers in store.
